CINETRAIN IS THE PRODUCTION COMPANY WHICH ORGANIZES AND MANAGES THE SUCCESSFUL MEDIA PROJECTS, SHORT AND FEATURE FILMS, MUSICALES

The name of the Cinetrain company comes from a number of the Kinopoyezd projects. The Cinetrain is a continuation of traditions of documental cinema. In the 1930-s there was Kinopoyezd of Alexander Medvedkin, – the film crew went across Russia in a specially equipped train consisting of several cars removed generally propaganda plots, developed a film in the train, montaged and showed the result to people in other towns. It was the unique project in the world.

In 2007 the company of young cinematographers Guillaume Protsenko, Nikita Sutyrin, Natasha Pavlovskaya, Aleksandra Marchenko, – were willing to repeat the idea of this experiment, but already in modern conditions. Tatyana Petrik has acted as the producer of this project, and the first modern Kinopoyezd consisting of 7 film crews of cinematographers from the different countries has gone on the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow to Vladivostok.

Result – the Cannes Film Festival.
